I forgot how fast crocheting goes compared to knitting, and so I put about the same amount of time in this as I have with knitting, however I would only be 1/3 of the way done by now, not finished. I did this one different than any other blankets I have crocheted in the past. I'm trying to think outside the crochet box. So what I did with this blanket is a single crochet border, and then inside of the border its double crochet. OK so not really thinking outside the box, however I never try anything different when I crochet, only when I knit, probably because I'm so new at knitting. Anyhow here's a super duper up close picture of the blanket (above), and below is the picture of the final project!! It turned out huge, I haven't measured it, but it will definitely be a blanket he can use for awhile.....well lets hope :)Thursday, June 4, 2009
Tylers baby blanket
OK, so I'm pretty sure I have some obsessive compulsive behaviors! I started Tylers baby blanket this last Sunday, you know 4 days ago, and I finished it this morning, along with washing it.
