SOOOO I finished the blanket, and this is how it turned out. I am not impressed with it, however I plan on going to the store to get some more yarn, and start another baby blanket today. The only reason why I posted this, is so I can document my progress with knitting. So with that being said, now I know you really do need to count your cast ons, I did but not until the end, and I couldn't visualize how long that would be (222 cast on's, and I believe it's 130 rows approx) I thought I had the width down with only two skeins of yarn, it looks like I should've continued knitting another two skeins and it would've been a good size blanket. Didn't come up with that thought until I was casting off. Oh well, practice makes perfect right?? and this was my very first knitted blanket, I have to say it doesn't look as bad as some of my first crochetted blankets, of course I was 12 at the time :)

Frogging in the name of a happier FO is always worth it in my opinion. If you think it should have a couple of more skeins to be happy with it, you should add them. Maybe get a couple of other FOs under you belt first. Or you could always give it away.
I looks good. Is it garter stitch? What was your edging?
the edging is a weave pattern. I brought the blanket with me to work today, and we (the nurse and I) decided to unravel it, and then I will just start over. added it up, and ended up putting about 28 hours into the blanket :) and 28 minutes to unravel :) it is a garter stitch. I'm working on another blanket right now, and actually counted the cast ons this time :) so it should turn out ok, I hope :)
