So I'm back to work again, after having three weeks off. So happy to be back in my routine of life!! so much better!! and loving the fact that I'm not sick anymore, I can finally breathe on my own, I have to say that kinda freaked me out, of course I won't ever really admit how bad that freaked me out.
Anyhow it is definitely flu season!!! before I got sick and was working an average day at our busy location was around 40-50 patients in a 12 hour period, so one day. At our slower location an average could be 15-25 patients a day. Well when I worked last Monday at our "slower" location we saw 54 patients!! our busier quick care was in the 90's!!! that is how I know it is flu season, and besides being in my death bed because of the flu!!
Pretty interesting when I have to swab somebodies throat (test for possible strep throat), or swab their nasal cavaties (test for the flu), anything like that, I whip my mask out of my pocket and place that sucker over my face, before I approach any orifices!! and I kindly explain why. They all understand!! It is a pain, when you are that busy, especially having to wear gloves all the flippin time, my hands are so dry!! I wash and sanitized my hands after every encounter with a patient, well unless its a broken bone, not many of those, this time of year!!! can't wait until high school football, and basketball season starts up again, give me broken bones, and blood, keep the viruses away!!! So just a little paranoid!!

Glad that you are feeling better. Being sick sucks. You guys must see a lot of people living in that region. I'll take the warm SoCal weather any day.
